What is Macronutrient Calculation?

Once you have determined your daily calorie needs, it is important to divide those calories into macronutrient groups such as carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Each macronutrient needs to be calculated in grams. The following ratios are generally recommended:

  • Carbohydrates: 45-65%
  • Proteins: 10-35%
  • Fats: 20-35%
